The Symphony presents its first concert of the academic year, under the leadership of Miriam Burns, conductor; Samantha Burgess, Malik Khalfani and Jae Park, graduate student conductors.

Ginastera: Ballet Suite from Estancia (as part of our celebration of Latin American music during Hispanic Heritage Month); Verhey: Flute Concerto No. 1 in D minor, featuring Yuanzhu Chen, soloist; Mozart: Abduction from the Seraglio Overture; Bellini: "Ah! non credea...Ah! non giunge" from La Sonnambula, featuring Alexandria Schmidt, soprano; Mendelssohn: "Italian" Symphony. Ms. Chen and Ms. Schmidt are winners of the DMA Concerto Competition.
