Join us for this jazz concert featuring guest artists, the Adam Larson Kansas City Trio. Adam Larson, saxophone; Ben Leifer, bass; John Kizilarmut, drums.
The Adam Larson Kansas City Trio was formed in 2019 after leader and saxophonist Adam Larson relocated to the KC–metro area after 19 years in New York City. Comprised of Adam, bassist Ben Leifer and drummer John Kizilarmut, the trio has been busy since its inception playing numerous engagements around the Midwest. They recently recorded their album With Love, From Kansas City that will enjoy a tour in support of its release this September. With stops at venues such Smalls Jazz Club (NYC), Rudy’s Jazz Room (Nashville), Reveler’s Hall (Dallas), Base 249 (Lexington), as well as educational events at numerous colleges and universities, the group aims to strike its desired balance between giving back through education and reaching new audiences through performance.
Livestream broadcast begins at 5:30 p.m.
All events are subject to change.
