Ben Shaheen is working toward his DMA in percussion performance. He completed his master’s degree in percussion in 2019 at Ohio State, and his undergraduate degree at the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory in 2017. Ben teaches the percussion techniques course for music education majors and serves as an assistant director of the Ohio State University Percussion Ensemble. Outside of Ohio State, Ben performs in The Summit Ridge Duo with violinist Kelsey Broker. The percussion and violin duo is dedicated to performing new music in unique spaces.
