Josh Reynolds, a native of Utica, Ohio, completed his Master of Music in wind conducting at The Ohio State University. He studied conducting with Russell C. Mikkelson and Scott A. Jones. While at Ohio State, he worked with various ensembles, including the Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Collegiate Winds, University Band, and Marching and Athletic Bands. He earned his Bachelor of Music Education degree from Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio, studying conducting with Margaret Underwood and Michael Yonchak, and horn with Kim McCann. 

Reynolds taught for nine years in the Columbus City Schools and was awarded Educator of the Year in 2017. His ensembles often competed in Ohio Music Education Association Large Group Contests, Solo and Ensemble events, and community performances in Central Ohio. Reynolds'  professional affiliations include Kappa Kappa Psi Honorary Band Fraternity, the Ohio Music Educators Association, the College Band Directors National Association, and the National Association for Music Education (NAfME).
