Paul Bissler, a first-year graduate teaching associate, received his Bachelor of Music Education from Ohio University in 2019. Bissler is currently pursuing a Master of Music in wind conducting from The Ohio State University. 

Prior to starting his master’s program, Bissler taught in Ohio public schools, where he directed bands in grades 5–12. Bissler began teaching at Graham Local Schools in St. Paris, Ohio, where he led the Marching Band, Pep Band, Concert Band, and the middle school band program. Bissler then moved to Miami Trace High School where he led the high school band program including the Symphonic and Concert Band, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Pep Band; taught music theory; and assisted at the middle school. His bands have consistently received superior and excellent ratings at OMEA District and State Large Group Contests.
