Two Options — BA with lessons or no lessons
A flexible "create your own" music degree option — a great choice for double majors.
Students in this degree plan are not required to audition unless they would like to take private lessons. The no lessons option allows students without prior music training or experience to obtain a degree.
BA in Music WITH Lessons
Important — An audition is required if you would like to include private lessons as part of your degree program.
BA in Music with NO Lessons
Important — Students in this degree plan will not be able to take private lessons nor pursue teacher licensure (i.e. be a school band/choir/orchestra director or general music teacher).
