Pianist Li Wang, a native of Inner Mongolia, China, enjoys a vibrant international career that beautifully balances performance, collaboration and education. She currently resides in Columbus, Ohio. The 2025 season included invited appearances at the Cremona International Music Festival in Italy, masterclasses at Xinghai Conservatory of Music and Sun Yat-Sen University, and a recording project with her husband, violinist Andrii Isakov, featuring the complete four sonatas for violin and piano by Allen Sapp for release on Navona Records. In 2023, she gave the world premiere of Chen Yi’s "Spring in Dresden" for violin and piano at Tsinghua University.

An engaging and versatile performer, Wang has been heard across the US, China and Europe — with performances in Ukraine, Spain, Portugal, Italy and South Korea. She made her orchestral debut in 2012 as soloist in the "Yellow River" Piano Concerto with the China National Opera and Dance Drama Theater Symphony Orchestra. She is also a laureate of numerous international competitions, including the Wideman International Piano Competition, Clamo International Piano Competition (Spain), Cliff Dwellers Club Competition, MTNA–Stecher and Horowitz Two Piano Competition, and J. Earl Lee Collaborative Piano Competition. Chamber music lies at the heart of Li Wang’s artistic practice. She performs regularly in duo with violinist Andrii Isakov, and has collaborated with esteemed artists such as Yehuda Hanani, Vladimir Perlin, and Kurt Sassmannshaus.

Li Wang holds a Doctor of Musical Arts and an Artist Diploma from the University of Cincinnati College–Conservatory of Music (CCM), where she studied with James Tocco. She earned her Master of Music from Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of Performing Arts under Adam Neiman, and her Bachelor of Music from the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing under Professor Chun Pan.
