Registration and Payment
How do I register and pay?
All participants will register and pay online. Find a link to the registration form on the web page of each program. Registration and payment are made in one transaction. You will receive a confirmation email with receipt upon submission.
Must I pay in full at the time of registration?
Yes, full payment is required at the time of registration.
Will I receive confirmation of my registration and payment?
After submitting your online registration and payment, you will receive a confirmation email with receipt.
If you do not receive this email, one of three things has happened: (1) the email address you entered may be incorrect; (2) the confirmation email was sent to your SPAM box; or (3) the online registration was not received by our system. If you do not receive a confirmation within two hours of submitting the online form, please email YouthSummerMusic@osu.edu.
When do you stop accepting registrations?
Registration is open until either a program reaches capacity or the registration deadline has passed. Many programs fill quickly, so register, pay and submit your permission forms early!
What is your refund policy?
All but $50 of your fee will be refunded prior to the program's registration deadline. Refunds after the registration deadline are made at the discretion of the Youth Summer Music Programs director. If the Ohio State School of Music cancels a program for any reason, full refunds will be made.
Required Permission Forms
How will we receive and complete the required permission forms?
Within 5–7 business days after registering and submitting payment, you will receive an email from DocuSign with required permission forms that will need to be electronically signed by both parent/guardian and participant in order to complete the registration process. These forms will have an expiration date. They must be completed before that deadline.
Will I receive confirmation that my permission forms were received?
You will receive email confirmation from DocuSign after the electronic forms have been completed by both parent/guardian and participant.
Health and Safety Requirements
For visitors attending Ohio State events, including youth/minors, COVID-19 vaccinations are strongly recommended but are not required.
Program Attendance
When will I receive additional details and instructions about my program?
Information specific to your program, including schedule, will be emailed approximately two weeks prior to the start date. Review it carefully prior to the start of your program.
Who supervises the participants?
The safety and well-being of each program participant is central to our mission. All program faculty and staff are screened and trained annually as part of comprehensive university policy.

How can I receive information about upcoming programs?
The School of Music offers a wide variety of outreach programs for middle and high school musicians, as well as hundreds of concerts that are FREE and open to the public.
