Women's Glee Club and University Chorus (No ticket required)
University Chorus performs "Fanfare for a Festival," Ron Nelson; Still wie die Nacht, Carl Bohm/arr. Sieving, and Jubilate Deo, Michael Fink. Robert J. Ward, conductor. Women's Glee Club and the Women's Chamber Ensemble present William Matthias' "The Echoing Green" and selections by contemporary composers Michelle Roueche, Stephen Hatfield, Paul Halley, Craig Hella Johnson, Gwyneth Walker, and Ruth Watson Henderson. Halley's "Untraveled Worlds" features violinist Michael Adler, with organ and percussion. The program concludes with "Carmen Ohio" conducted by undergraduate student Leah Davis. Kristina Caswell MacMullen, conductor; Casey L. Cook, pianist; Minji Kim, graduate conducting associate.This concert is free and open to the public.
