Flute Workshop week opens with a faculty recital presented by workshop director Katherine Borst Jones, professor of flute, with guest flutists Ann Stimson, Rachel Haug, Luke Shultz, Amara Guitry and collaborative pianist Jiung Yoon. Selections include Spirit Flight for solo flute, Katherine Hoover; Sonata in Eb Major, J. S. Bach; Sonatine for flute and piano (1953), Jaap Geraedts; and Maya for two flutes and piano, Ian Clarke.
This concert is free and open to the public.
