Collegiate Winds
Collegiate Winds' program begins and ends with music based on various settings of simple but well-known hymns - chorale preludes "O Sacred Head Now Wounded" and "Now Thank We All our God" by William Latham, and "Just A Closer Walk With Thee," a Dixieland-style arrangement by Gillis and Custer. Additional selections are Percy Grainger's Mock Morris and Ye Bank and Braes O'Bonnie Doon, and Malcolm Arnold's Prelude, Siciliano, and Rondo arranged by Paynter. Nicholas Enz, doctoral conducting associate, leads the ensemble.
