In April 2017, the Women’s Glee Club headed to Nashville, Tennessee for their biennial music tour! Along the way, they made a stop at Lakota West High School in the Cincinnati area for a performance and some meet-and-greet time with high school students, and then headed to Bellarmine University in Kentucky for a clinic with choral director Dr. Maggie Owens. After a night exploring Music City with each other, they enjoyed an afternoon of singing and learning from the Vox Grata Women’s Choir, a community advocacy choir of women of all ages and backgrounds. They ended the trip with another performance at the Country Music Hall of Fame. Members enjoyed bonding and spending quality time with one another towards the end of a long spring semester. Much appreciation goes to Dr. MacMullen and the executive board for organizing such a successful spring tour!
