A native of Victor, West Virginia, Perri Kiser is an active teacher and performer based in southern WV and Ohio. She has taught in various capacities, from the New River Youth Symphony's Emerging Strings to preschool music in Seville, Spain. In addition to academic ensembles, Perri has performed with the Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra and the Lima Symphony Orchestra, and is a member of the New Albany Symphony Orchestra.
Perri's focus is on providing musical opportunities to students who may otherwise not consider classical music an option for them. With a passion for arts administration, Perri and her mother, Kathie Kiser, have directed the summer music camps Coda Fine Arts and Coda Fine Arts Kidz in Fayetteville, WV since 2016. Perri has maintained a private teaching studio for many years and served as Enrichment Coordinator for Coda Mountain Academy, Inc., a non-profit organization focused on providing STEAM programs for local youth and families.
Perri holds Bachelor of Music degrees in both violin performance and instrumental music education with a concentration in piano from Liberty University. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in string pedagogy and a Master of Music in violin performance at The Ohio State University.
When she is not in the music building, Perri is likely hiking, kayaking, or spending time with her cat, Fig.
