Erin Fuzer is a graduate teaching associate and PhD candidate in musicology at The Ohio State University. Her research interests include women’s music clubs, female musicians of the 19th century, music history pedagogy, and children’s music. Most recently she has investigated the logistical, philanthropic, social and musical activities pursued by American Chaminade clubs, and their relationship with Cécile Chaminade.

Originally from New Jersey, Erin graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. During her time in Florida, she studied in both percussion and voice studios, performed in a wide range of ensembles, and served as President for the UF Collegiate National Association for Music Education.

Erin is also an alumna of Sigma Alpha Iota. In her free time she enjoys yoga, and baking for her family and friends.
