Riley Ferretti is a DMA student in composition and a graduate teaching associate at The Ohio State University. She is a computer musician and vocalist who has received recognition from various competitions and organizations, including the KMEA Collegiate Composition Competition, Chorus Austin Composer's Competition Young Composers Division, The Society for Electro-Acoustic Music in the United States (SEAMUS), the FSU Festival of New Music, the Performing Media Festival, and 88.7FM's Synthdactyl Program. She holds a bachelor's degree in music composition from the University of Louisville and a master's in music composition at the University of Florida, where she explored the integration of the body, voice, and technology through the concepts of cybernetic feedback loops, posthumanism, identity, durational performance, and the body as source material.
