Bassoon Camp

The Ohio State University has announced that all courses will be delivered through virtual modes of teaching and learning for the Summer 2020 term as we continue to respond to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Ohio State’s highest priority is the health and well-being of our community, and the university is following public health guidance in all decisions.

This university decision compels us to cancel all of our 2020 Youth Summer Music Program offerings. Please return to this site in January to see the full complement of YSMP offerings for Summer 2021.

If you have registered and paid for a 2020 program, we will be in touch with details of your pending refund.

We look forward to seeing you in Summer 2021.

Bassoon Camp is customized for bassoonists of all experience levels in grades 8 through 12. The program atmosphere is designed to be informative, inspirational, supportive and enjoyable. In addition to large-ensemble and chamber music playing, students will work with faculty and students of the Ohio State bassoon studio. Learn and refine reed making skills, develop performance enhancement strategies, explore solo repertoire, and much more! Become part of the world-wide community of bassoonists by taking part in Bassoon Camp at Ohio State.
