Lynn Singleton10:15–11 a.m. — Lynn Singleton: "The Healthy Pianist's Toolbox.” Begin to acquire a collection of essential wellness tools that can be used to build a healthy technique, prevent injury and manage performance anxiety.

Steven Glaser11–11:45 — Steven Glaser: "Getting the Most out of Your Practice Time." Not making any progress? Can't find a solution to a passage? Bring it to me and we'll find solutions and practice strategies.

Ed Bak11:45–12:30 — Ed Bak: "Sharing the Stage" with a singer. Workshop pieces: Lydia by Gabriel Fauré and Das Velichen by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with the assistance of two singers from the Ohio State School of Music. Topics include achieving an ideal balance with the singer, understanding breath and phrasing, using linguistic cues as a tool for good ensemble, and proper stage etiquette.

12:30 — Lunch

Maria Staeblein1:30–2:15 — Maria Staeblein: “Playing Together” with an instrumentalist. We'll explore how to rehearse and play together effectively. Workshop piece: Beethoven's Romance in F Major for violin and piano (excerpt). We will have the assistance of a violinist from the School of Music.

2:15–3 p.m. — Ken Williams: "Piano with a Partner." Interactive workshop using the group piano lab.

Caroline Hong3–3:45 — Caroline Hong: "The Technique of Musicality." Score markings, moving bar and phrase lines, finger pedals and more. Tips to sound and play more expressively, and enhance the listener's experience.

3:45–4:30 — Ryan Behan: "Career Paths." A roundtable Q&A with School of Music faculty and alumni.
