After eight rich years of Middle School Honor Band Festivals at Ohio State, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue the event.
This has been a decision reached following significant discernment, and made in order to support new programs for the educators and students of our region’s public and private school music education programs. To the nearly 2500 students representing more than 190 middle school band programs in eight states who have participated in this program since 2011, thank you for being part of our School of Music community through this event.
Review the some of our other programs, listed in the menu under the Outreach tab. Many are open to and welcome middle school musicians.
