Applicants for Graduate Studies in Music
It is strongly recommended that you apply as early as possible in order for your application and supporting materials to be processed in a timely manner. Anything submitted close to or on your required deadline will likely result in your application not being reflected as "Complete" on time. NOTE: It can take up to 2 business days for your application to be electronically received by the School of Music.
Deadlines for Funding Consideration
(except for Piano and Voice applicants*)
- Fellowship — Priority for funding will be given to qualified domestic and international applicants whose completed application and supporting materials are received by November 30, 2018.
Graduate Associateship — Applicants seeking a Graduate Associateship must submit applications and all supporting materials by March 1, 2019 (with the exception of Musicology applicants, who must submit all materials by January 1, 2019).
*Deadline for all Piano and Voice Applicants
(regardless of funding preference)
Piano — The application and materials, and the pre-screen audition, must all be completed by November 30, 2018.
Voice — The application and materials, and the pre-screen audition, must all be completed by November 30, 2018.
Audition Deadline for Performance/Pedagogy Majors
wishing Fellowship consideration
- If you are required to audition and also wish to be considered for a Fellowship — you must audition by Sunday, January 13, 2019.
Deadlines for Summer and Autumn 2019 Semesters
for those NOT seeking funding (except for Piano and Voice applicants*)
- February 20, 2019 (international) and April 8, 2019 (domestic).
