Graduate and undergraduate trombone students present a program of ensemble selections, directed by Sterling Tanner, lecturer of trombone. The concert will take place at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2001 Northwest Blvd.

"Achieved is the Glorious Work" from The Creation, Haydn; Morgenmusik, Hindemith; Sonata Pian’e Forte, Gabrieli/arr. John Marcellus; Alma Llanera, Gutiérrez/arr. Vinicio Meza (Jeremy Smith, Jake Pauley, Peter Gooch, Sterling Tanner); Crucifixus, Lotti/trans. Elwood Williams; "Bydło" and "Promenade" from Pictures at an Exhibition, Mussorgsky/arr. Kenneth Gehrs (Peter Gooch, guest conductor); "A Song for Japan," Steven Verhelst (Peter Gooch, Jake Pauley, Parker Baird, Zach Irwin); Adagio from Symphony No. 3, Saint-Saëns/arr. Ken Murley; "Back to the Fair," Bill Reichenbach; Mein junges Leben hat ein End, Sweelinck/arr. Steven Verhelst.

Ensemble members are Peter Gooch, Melody Harrell, Ethan Ours, Jake Pauley, Wayne Rickert, Jay Sandlin, Jacob Smith, David York, and graduate teaching associate Jeremy Smith, tenor trombones; Parker Baird, Zach Irwin, C. J. McGhee, bass trombones.

This concert is free and open to the public. No ticket required.
