Honor Bands

High School Honor Band

The Ohio State band faculty is committed to offering exciting and meaningful performance and learning opportunities for young musicians. The High School Honor Band Weekend is one of the longest-running and finest events of its kind, and has welcomed thousands of the most talented high school musicians over its 35+ years. Students are selected from high school band director nominations. Those who attend are then placed into separate bands based on auditions on campus at the start of Honor Band Weekend.
