Research Presentation Subsidy 2020-2021

During 2020–21, a small ($100 or less) subsidy will be offered to cover registration fees for graduate students presenting research/creative work. This limited funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please submit the following to the Graduate Studies Chair:

1. The School of Music Student Professional Expenses Grant Application form.

2.  A brief letter from the applicant, describing the project, its purpose, and the potential professional significance to your degree program and your development as a scholar or performer. The letter should state the amount of money requested and the nature of the expense.

3.  A brief letter of support from the applicant’s applied teacher, faculty advisor, or mentor, affirming the worth of the project for which funding is sought.

4.  A letter of invitation or other indication of acceptance from the sponsoring organization or institution.
