Summer Jazz Camp

 

June 21-25, 2009

Take advantage of the Summer Jazz Camp for High School Students at The Ohio State University. The five-day camp offers 9–12th graders an in-depth study and immersion in jazz, all in a fun-filled environment. Camp highlights include:

  • Combo and Big Band Performances
  • Listening Sessions
  • Master Classes on each Instrument
  • Jazz History Classes
  • Jazz Improvisation Classes
  • Arranging and Composition
  • Closing Concert
  • Career Exploration
  • Classes taught by regular OSU Faculty

Registration Fee
$350 for commuters (by May 20)
$450 on campus (by May 20)

Registration deadline is May 20, but register early to guarantee a position. Make check payable to “The Ohio State University Jazz Camp” by May 20, 2009. Commuter fee of $350 is due in full. Campus resident fee of $450 is due in full as well.
