OSU School of Music Presents Winter Lectures in Musicology

The School of Music presents five lectures by distinguished faculty from Ohio State University and Miami University during winter quarter 2010. The lecture series opens on January 11 and concludes March 1. All lectures are free and open to the public and unless otherwise noted are given at 4:30 p.m. in the Music and Dance Library, Rm. 066 Sullivant Hall, 1813 N. High St., on campus.

Announcing Lessons for All Non-Majors!

Starting Winter quarter 2010, the School of Music will offer Music 216.(xx), performance lessons for non-majors.  Guitar, piano and voice have been especially requested by many students and now we hope to be able to accommodate interested students for these and some other instruments as well.   If you sign up for one credit, you will get a 30 minute lesson per week for a fee of $75; two credits will earn you a one-hour weekly lesson for a fee of $150.  We still offer group lessons in piano, voice, guitar as well.
