Alumni News:

Zebulon Highben (BME 2002) is a DMA student in choral conducting at Michigan State University, where he is a teaching assistant in both the choral area and in music history. He is Director of Music at First Presbyterian Church of Lansing, and will serve as a guest conductor of the Saginaw Choral Society in 2010. His choral compositions and arrangements are published by Augsburg Fortress publishers.

Mark Wade (DMA 2008) was appointed Assistant Professor of Music at Denison University.  He teaches the trumpet studio, music theory and conducts the wind ensemble.

Student News:

Laura Bockbrader (BM 2010) was selected for the 2009 Homecoming Court last weekend.  Laura was President of the SOM Undergraduate Student Council last year and also served as a member of the Executive Dean Search Committee in 2008 – 2009.  She is a voice student of Professor Loretta Robinson.
