Oboe and bassoon chamber ensembles perform selections by Schumann/Clark, Saint-Saëns/Elkjer, Miaskowsky/Schmidt, Joplin/Clark, Fasch, Grethen and Mozart. The Double Reed Camp Choir consisting of the entire ensemble of participants and staff will play La Rejouissance, Handel/Bondurant; Sonatina, Kabalevsky; Jewish Dance, 17th century/Nicholson and Ahoy Sailor!, Blackman. Double Reed Camp directors are Karen Pierson, bassoon and Robert Sorton, oboe.
This concert is free and open to the public.
