Chorale and Women's Glee Club+
The School of Music at Ohio State presents Chorale and Women's Glee Club in a joint concert on Sunday, November 15, 2009, at 3 p.m. in Weigel Auditorium, 1866 College Rd., on campus.
Chorale, a select mixed voice ensemble, offers songs of praise, meditation, and dance including:
"O let the nations be glad" by Randall Thompson, the most prominent choral composer of the 20th century and "Psalm 100" by Heinrich Schutz.

Guest Series: Fred Hersch, jazz piano - A Benefit for Moffett GLBT Scholarship
Pianist and composer Fred Hersch, a Cincinnati native, will give a solo benefit concert on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 8 p.m. in Weigel Auditorium, 1866 College Rd., on campus. The benefit concert is for the Mark Moffett, Jr. GLBT Music Scholarship in the School of Music.

Scarlet Winds, the new faculty woodwind quintet at Ohio State's School of Music, will give its first concert on Monday, November 16 at 8 p.m. in Weigel Auditorium, 1866 College Rd, campus.
Scarlet Winds includes, pictured left to right, OSU alumnus Anthony Lojo, clarinet; Katherine Borst Jones, flute; Robert Sorton, oboe; Bruce Henniss, horn; and Karen Pierson, bassoon.

New Music Collective Concert
Music at Ohio State ONew Music Collective Presents Second Concert
The New Music Collective holds its second concert on Friday, November 20 at 8 p.m. in Weigel Auditorium, 1866 College Rd., on campus. The group was founded in spring 2009.
The 25-member New Music Collective, an ensemble specializing in the performance of a wide spectrum of 20th and 21st century music, presents a varied program, from American master Charles Ives to a live performance arrangement of music by pop-electronica star Aphex Twin.
