The School of Music has FREE parking for the FIRST 10 ALUMNI who call Dr. David Frego (614-292-2870) in the School of Music and mention this Alumni Update.

This is the 14th annual Celebration Concert—Mershon Auditorium, 8pm—featuring incomparable student ensembles in a musical extravaganza that will make you proud. Be one of the first 10 to call by November 20 to get a free parking pass for either the Union or Arps parking garage. For concert tickets, call (614) 292-0789.

Catherine Hope-Cunningham Now Recruiting for SOM

SOM alumna Catherine Hope-Cunningham has joined the School of Music staff as Music Admissions Coordinator and she's traveling the country talking up music at Ohio State. More about her in the next Alumni Update. In the meantime, if you know students who are interested in studying music at Ohio State, contact Catherine at (614) 292-2870.

Where Are They Now...

Stephen Montague Makes Music in the UK

Stephen Montague, a graduate of Ohio State and former student of Marshall Barnes, now lives in the United Kingdom. His compositions, regularly performed in the U.S. and abroad, include "Beyond the Stone Horizon," which was premiered at Dorchester Abbey in their Music in the Abbey Festival. The work was conducted by John Lubbock and performed by the Orchestra and Chorus of St. Johns (London) with soprano Dame Felicity Lott. On September 24, Mr. Montague's "Sonic Swamp," a four-hour multi-media event, was premiered at the Colourscape Festival.
