Stephen Montague in the UK

Stephen Montague, a graduate of Ohio State and former student of Marshall Barnes, now lives in the United Kingdom. His compositions are regularly performed both here and abroad. His recent work, “Beyond the Stone Horizon” was premiered at Dorchester Abbey in the Music in the Abbey Festival. The work was performed by the Orchestra and Chorus of St. Johns (London) with Dame Felicity Lott (soprano), conducted by John Lubbock.
On September 24, Mr. Montague had a 4 hour multi-media event called “Sonic Swamp” premiered at the Colourscape Festival. Below is a photo of one of the 20 performers in a dress made out of tree branches and silk.
