Opera and Musical Theatre

Directed by Peter Kozma, the highly selective ensemble performs a broad range of repertoire, from the early baroque operas to contemporary American musicals. In close cooperation with the OSU Theater department, the group produces two fully staged productions and an evening of opera scenes every year. The students get an opportunity to perform in different venues, ranging from the intimate Roy Bowen Theater to the 2,500 seat Mershon Auditorium, collaborating with a symphony orchestra, a baroque ensemble or a jazz group.
